Sebastian received his M.Phys. (2007) in Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews, Scotland and his M.A. (2009) in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Ph.D. candidate at Berkeley. While at Berkeley, he has been awarded the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. He has done research in High Energy Physics at Fermi National Laboratory and at CERN. Currently, his main research is in scanning tunneling microscopy of single molecules and graphene.
