August 2025 Monthly Report Press Briefing – Wednesday, September 17 at 8:00 AM PDT

After a brief summer pause, Berkeley Earth resumes its Monthly Press Briefing Series with the latest global temperature analysis and climate insights from our August 2025 Temperature Update.

Each month, our science team presents independent, open-access climate data to help contextualize the Earth’s changing climate system. In this month’s session, we will share the newest findings on global surface temperatures, highlight unusual climate signals from August 2025, and provide perspective on both short-term fluctuations and long-term warming trends.

Through this series, Berkeley Earth aims to support journalists, industry leaders, policymakers, and the public with timely, data-backed insights drawn from our leading open-access climate science.
